How Safaris With A Heart Is Supporting Two Young Orphans Through Education
In a quiet village outside Arusha, two small children—Jackson and his younger sister Jackline—wake up each morning with a story far heavier than their tiny shoulders were ever meant to carry.
At just a young age, they lost both of their parents.
Their father passed away suddenly after a short illness, and only months later, their mother followed, leaving the two children with no one to care for them. Overnight, their world changed. What once was a home filled with love, laughter, and the comfort of a family became a place of deep silence and uncertainty.
With no relatives able to take them in, Jackson and Jackline were at risk of dropping out of school, missing out on meals, and losing the chance at the stable life every child deserves.
But their story did not end there.

A Door of Hope Opens
When community members reached out through our local network—via church leaders, neighbors, and village social welfare officers—the heartbreaking situation of the two siblings was brought to the attention of Safaris With A Heart.
We immediately stepped in.
After learning the full story and assessing their needs, we made a commitment:
Jackson and Jackline would not walk this difficult journey alone.
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
– Nelson Mandela
Education is one of the most powerful gifts a child can receive. It shapes their future, breaks cycles of poverty, and restores hope after tragedy.
Thanks to a generous donor, Safaris With A Heart has taken full responsibility for their school fees, ensuring both children stay in school without interruption.
They are now officially enrolled at Arusha School, one of the most established primary schools in the region, where they will begin their studies from Class Two (Darasa la Pili).
This includes:
School fees paid in full
Books and supplies
School uniforms
Meals
Support from teachers and caregivers
For children who have lost everything, school becomes more than a place to learn.
It becomes a safe space—a new home, a new beginning.
