Meet Our Founders
Roger comes from a family with more than 50 years of experience in Tanzanian tourism. His father served as a National Parks safari guide for 35 years before founding a family mountain company.
Roger began his career as a porter on Mount Kilimanjaro, eventually becoming a head guide, then safari guide, and now co-owner of Safaris With A Heart.
With over 100 Kilimanjaro summits, thousands of safari miles, and a passion for serving local communities, Roger leads all safari operations and oversees the organization’s charity projects. His deep local knowledge and compassionate approach make every journey unforgettable.
Lynn brings nearly 30 years of C-level experience from a major U.S. real estate company, but her heart belongs to Tanzania. Her journey began in 2011, when she summited Mount Kilimanjaro for the first time. Standing at the crater rim, she declared:
“This was the most amazing thing I have ever done. I will be back.”
And she kept her promise.
Moved by the beauty of Tanzania and the resilience of its people, Lynn has since led hundreds of travelers through safaris, treks, and cultural outreach experiences — all while dedicating herself to improving the lives of vulnerable families across the country.
She has summited Kilimanjaro eight times , trekked Mount Meru once, and remains deeply committed to charity work across Tanzania.
